Skin Treatments and Facials

Professional skin treatments support skin health between, or instead of, more intensive procedures. Each is adapted to your skin's condition on the day, and we will tell you if a facial is unlikely to address your concern.

How the options differ

Medical facials cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate. Chemical peels use acids at controlled strengths for more targeted resurfacing. Hydration treatments focus on infusing moisture with minimal downtime.

Your consultation

A brief skin assessment before every treatment checks for active infection, sensitivity, recent procedures and products that could affect the result.

Preparation

  • Stop retinoids 3–5 days before peels unless advised otherwise.
  • Avoid waxing or threading the face for one week.

Aftercare

  • Keep skincare gentle for 48 hours.
  • Apply SPF 50 daily and reapply outdoors.

Safety

  • Peels are not performed on broken, sunburnt or infected skin.
  • Some peels are unsuitable during pregnancy.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I have a facial?

Many patients choose every four to six weeks, in line with the skin's renewal cycle, but your therapist will recommend a frequency for your skin.
