Laser hair reduction targets pigment in the hair follicle. Pigmentation lasers target excess pigment in the skin. Radiofrequency microneedling uses heat delivered through fine needles to stimulate collagen. Device names and capabilities listed will match the equipment the clinic actually uses.
We assess your skin type, sun exposure, medications (including photosensitising drugs) and history of cold sores, scarring or pigment changes. A patch test may be required before your first full session.
Some devices and settings are designed for a wider range of skin types. Suitability is confirmed at assessment, often with a patch test.
Most patients describe a snapping or warm sensation. Cooling and, for some treatments, topical anaesthetic are used to improve comfort.
